Sometimes it can be daunting to start out on a new jogging or running programme, I understand, I have been there.

The free C25K apps and plans are brilliant but they can't beat an experienced coach who has taken over 60 people from couch to 5k, to 10k, to marathon and beyond.

I can help to keep you motivated when you want to quit, to help you learn good running technique, to avoid injury and best of all make running FUN!

I took my Leadership in Running Fitness (LIRF) in 2015 and started my first jog group with Jog Derbyshire, not long after I ran my very first C25K programme and the participants loved it! I continued this until I moved to Perth in 2018.

Since then I have had a short break (2 babies) but I am happy to be starting again with new runners in Perth.

Couch to 5K Programme

This is a 9-week programme for absolute beginners and at the end you will complete a 5K run.

The programme is designed to take you gently from walking to jogging the 5k without stopping.

I will be with you every step of the way and your fellow runners will help to support you within the Facebook Group (often participants get together to do the homework together as a way to further encourage and support each other)

The programme takes you step-by-step through 8 coached sessions, homework, tips on jogging and access to support.

Graduates receive a FREE T-shirt and C25K Certificate of Completion

Programme cost: only £55!

The next step: 3k to 7.5k Programme

This is an 8-week programme for people who've done C25K BUT don't quite feel ready for a 10K yet!

I'll take you through upping your distance, improving your technique and increasing your endurance. We'll do a combination of running, intervals and some drills.

I will be with you every step of the way and your fellow runners will help to support you within the Facebook Group (often participants get together to do the homework together as a way to further encourage and support each other) On week 8 you'll run a marked 7.5km run!

The programme is designed to take you from jogging to running further and faster easily - and get you confident to take on a 10K.

The programme takes you step-by-step through 7 coached sessions, homework, tips on jogging and access to support.

Graduates receive a FREE Anti-wicking T-shirt and 7.5k Certificate of Completion

Programme cost only £50!

 

Train for a 10k!

This is an 8-week programme for joggers/runners wanting to go from 5k to 10k runs.

We will work on improving technique, pace and stamina. We'll do a combination of running, intervals and some drills.

I will be with you every step of the way and your fellow runners will help to support you within the Facebook Group (often participants get together to do the homework together as a way to further encourage and support each other)

On week 8 you'll run a marked 10km run! (or a local 10km race). You will be able to run the whole 10k if you commit to doing each session and EVERY homework.

The programme takes you through 7 coached sessions, weekly homework, tips on jogging, nutrition and access to support.

Graduates receive a FREE Anti-wicking T-shirt and 10k Certificate of Completion.

Programme cost only £65 (when entry into a local 10km run is included in the programme fee) £50 when it is a marked route by myself.

10K to 15k Training/ Half Marathon Training

This is a 10-week programme for runners wanting to go beyond 10k to 15k and even Half Marathons.

We will work on improving technique, pace and stamina. We'll do a combination of running, intervals and some drills.

I will be with you every step of the way and your fellow runners will help to support you within the Facebook Group (often participants get together to do the homework together as a way to further encourage and support each other)

You will be able to improve your 10k PB or run the whole Half Marathon race if you commit to doing every session and homework for the whole 10 weeks.

There is (no final race) just an assessment of distance - but it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you book yourself onto a Half Marathon scheduled for after completion of the programme to give you something to aim for.

The programme covers 10 weekly "main" sessions, weekly homework, tips on jogging, nutrition and access to support.

Graduates receive a FREE Anti-wicking T-shirt and 10-15k/Half Marathon Certificate of Completion.

Fastest 5K!

This is an 8-week programme for joggers/runners wanting to get their fastest 5K time.

We will work on improving technique, pace and stamina and of course SPEED!

At the end of the programme you'll take part in a 5km run and (hopefully) get a PB!

You will be definitely improve your speed if you take part in each and every session and homework for the whole 8 weeks

The programme covers 7 coached running sessions, weekly homework, tips on jogging, nutrition and access to support.

Graduates receive a FREE Anti-wicking T-shirt and Fastest Five Certificate of Completion.

Programme cost only £50
